Acer Predator Rift Lite PGC110 Gaming Chair
A breathable fabric gaming chair with 2D armrests, a 90°–155° reclining backrest and detachable support cushions for gaming, streaming and everyday desktop use.
The Predator Rift Lite is designed around practical seating adjustment for users who spend significant time at a gaming or computer desk. Its backrest moves between 90° and 155°, allowing you to shift from a focused upright position towards a more relaxed angle as the session changes.
Breathable fabric upholstery covers high-density moulded foam, creating a softer alternative to synthetic leather gaming chairs. Detachable headrest and lumbar cushions give you further control over how the chair supports your neck and lower back.
Focused on useful mechanical adjustment, breathable materials and a strong
steel structure rather than unnecessary gaming-room electronics.
Ideal For
Longer Desk Sessions
Breathable fabric and removable support cushions make the chair a practical option for extended gaming, study or desktop use.
Gaming-Inspired Home Offices
The black-and-blue Predator styling brings a distinct gaming look while retaining conventional height, tilt and armrest adjustment.
Key Features
2D Adjustable Armrests
Adjust the armrests vertically and rotate them inward or outward to better suit your desk height and preferred arm position.
90°–155° Backrest Recline
Move between a focused upright posture and a significantly more relaxed angle without leaving the chair.
Breathable Fabric Upholstery
The textured fabric surface promotes greater airflow than a fully synthetic leather covering and gives the chair a softer finish.
Detachable Support Cushions
Separate headrest and lumbar cushions can be fitted when additional support is wanted or removed for a cleaner seating profile.
High-Density Moulded Foam
Dense shaping foam forms the seating area, providing structured cushioning for regular gaming and desktop sessions.
Full Steel Frame
A steel internal structure provides a robust foundation, with the complete chair rated for users up to 150kg.
Adjust Your Position as You Play
More Control Than Fixed Armrests
The Rift Lite's 2D armrests provide two useful types of adjustment: vertical movement and inward or outward rotation. This allows you to position the arm support more appropriately for different desk heights, body positions and input devices.
It is a simpler system than 3D or 4D armrests, but still offers meaningful adjustment compared with fixed gaming-chair arms.
From Focused to Relaxed
The backrest adjusts from 90° to 155°, giving you room to change posture between active play, browsing and more relaxed viewing. A tilt-resistance tension control lets you alter the amount of force required for the chair to lean.
Pneumatic seat-height adjustment and a tilt-lock paddle add further control around different desks and preferred seating positions.
Breathable Comfort and Removable Support
Fabric Instead of Full Synthetic Leather
The Rift Lite uses a breathable fabric covering rather than the synthetic leather commonly found on traditional racing-style gaming chairs. This changes the feel of the seat and can make it more appealing to users who prefer a softer, less enclosed surface.
Beneath the upholstery, high-density moulded foam provides the shaped seating structure.
Configure the Cushions to Suit You
The detachable headrest and lumbar cushions allow the chair's support profile to be changed without permanently fixing additional padding in place. Use both cushions, one or neither depending on your preferred seating position.
This flexibility can also be useful when the chair is shared between different users.
Built for Practical Everyday Movement
Pneumatic Height Adjustment and Quiet Casters
A Class 3 gas piston handles pneumatic seat-height adjustment, allowing the seating position to be raised or lowered to better align with the desk. The complete chair is rated for a maximum user load of 150kg.
Five PU caster wheels allow the chair to roll around the desk, with the low-noise design intended to reduce unwanted sound as you reposition during a gaming or working session.
How It Compares
| Seating Requirement | Predator Rift Lite | Practical Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Arm positioning | 2D adjustable armrests | Adds height and rotational adjustment without the complexity of a full 4D mechanism. |
| Backrest positioning | 90°–155° recline range | Lets you move from focused desk use towards a more relaxed position between sessions. |
| Upholstery | Breathable fabric | Provides a softer, more airflow-friendly alternative to full PVC leather upholstery. |
| Additional support | Detachable headrest and lumbar cushions | Allows the support profile to be personalised or simplified when the cushions are not required. |
| Seat adjustment | Pneumatic height control with tilt lock | Makes it easier to position the chair around different desk and monitor arrangements. |
| Construction | Steel frame with 150kg maximum user load | Provides a solid structural foundation for everyday gaming and desktop use. |
The Verdict
The Acer Predator Rift Lite PGC110 is a well-balanced gaming chair for users who prioritise breathable fabric, useful adjustment and removable support cushions. Its 2D armrests are simpler than the mechanisms found on more expensive chairs, but the 155° backrest, pneumatic height adjustment, tilt controls and sturdy steel construction provide the practical flexibility needed for gaming, streaming and everyday desk use.
