Gold Heart with Dusty Rose Flowers Limoges Box

A gold heart is painted with dusty rose flowers, a soft and romantic pairing that feels both vintage and timeless. This heart was hand-painted on porcelain in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box.

Roses Gone Soft and Dusty

Dusty rose is the color of pressed flowers, old love letters and grandmother's favorite teacup. Set against gold, those muted blooms take on a warm glow that suits romantic and traditional rooms alike.

Marking the Golden Moments

This heart makes a lovely present for a fiftieth wedding anniversary, a bridal shower, a Mother's Day, or a friend who loves shabby chic style. It also suits a widow remembering a long marriage, or a granddaughter receiving a family heirloom style piece on her wedding day. Set it on a dressing table beside a jewelry dish, on a nightstand next to a framed photo, or among other hearts in a curio cabinet.

Shaped in the 1700s Tradition

Small porcelain boxes became the fashion in 18th-century France, prized for keeping snuff, pills and beauty patches close at hand. Limoges artisans continue the craft, painting each box by hand after firing.
