with Amelia Holaday of Honeycomb Kitchen Shop

*This class was also offered on June 8th.

Join Amelia and the HKS staff for a taste of Italy! Upon arrival there will be a delightful Seasonal Salad appetizer featuring Strawberries, Goat Cheese, Fresh Herbs, and Roasted Sunflower Seeds on Arugula topped with Balsamic Dressing. Then, roll up your sleeves as we dive into the art of making Fresh Pasta from Scratch! You’ll learn the traditional techniques to create silky strands and a classic Sugo Di Pomodoro, the quintessential Italian tomato sauce, bursting with flavor. Perfect for all skill levels, this hands-on experience promises to elevate your culinary repertoire and bring a taste of Italy to your kitchen! Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*

MEET THE CHEF:

Growing up in a food-centric family, Amelia Holaday learned the value of community and shared meals early on. This fostered a love for flavors and all things hosting, eventually leading her to open her own restaurant, which operated for several years as a creperie and specialty coffeeshop. During this time Amelia deepened her passion for building connections through food, and found a great amount of fulfillment providing a space for underrepresented communities to gather.

After moving to Northwest Arkansas, she found herself right at home in the Honeycomb kitchen- combining her love of food with planning and organizing has in many ways been a dream job!

A longtime DIY-er and advocate for a simple life, she currently spends most of her free time building out her tiny house, and finding space in 240 square feet to create delicious and nutritious meals on a budget.
